Amanda van Biljon’s career as a professional accountant spans nearly three decades, during which she has developed a strong reputation for her expertise in financial strategy, including profit improvements, budget forecasting, and tax planning. She began her career in 1996 at Van Dyk en Vennote, quickly establishing herself as a dedicated professional with a sharp eye for detail. Amanda went on to earn an N.Dip. in Internal Audit from Tshwane University of Technology and later qualified as a professional accountant with SAIPA in 1999.

In 2002, Amanda became a director at Secundes, where she has played an integral part in the growth of the firm. She also serves as a training officer, guiding article clerks as they move toward becoming professional accountants. Her dedication to their success is one of the most rewarding aspects of her career.

Known for her methodical approach to finance, Amanda believes in simplifying complex structures and focusing on strategies that drive long-term financial health. She works closely with clients to reduce debt and optimise processes, always prioritising clear, actionable advice.

Outside of her professional responsibilities, Amanda is committed to supporting vulnerable communities. She has a particular passion for helping the elderly and children, and she enjoys outdoor activities, especially camping with her family. Amanda also loves to travel, exploring new destinations and experiencing different cultures whenever the opportunity arises.
