We are pleased to introduce one of our directors, ElzaLize Steenkamp, with more than 10 years of experience in accounting, consultancy, and tax planning services.

A Journey of Growth

ElzaLize started her academic journey by earning a B.Com Accounting degree from the University of Johannesburg in 2006. After graduation, she briefly worked as a flight attendant in Saudi Arabia before returning to the accounting profession in 2010. She completed her articles with Secundes and became a professional accountant in 2014. In March 2017, ElzaLize was appointed as a director at Secundes.

ElzaLize is a SAIPA-certified professional accountant with a focus on accounting, consultancy, and tax planning. She is known for her organised approach and for truly listening to her clients to ensure their needs are met effectively. One of the most rewarding aspects of her role is resolving issues with SARS and delivering positive news to her clients.

A Personal Touch

Born and raised in Kempton Park, ElzaLize was encouraged by her family to work hard and do her best. Her father worked as a financial manager, and her mother supported the family at home. ElzaLize is married with two boys, and in her free time, she enjoys camping and spending time outdoors. She also enjoys giving old furniture a new look by painting and restoring it.

ElzaLize’s favourite quote is, “Do whatever makes you shine,” which highlights her balanced approach to work and life.
